500ml bottle. Aroma is strong mango, peach, hay. Flavour is tropical mango, resinous, caramel, quite bitter. This is a really nice IPA. It’s strange that whilst this is a beer most breweries would be proud to have in their standard range, it feels somewhat of a let down as part of a special one off series. It’s not fun or new, it’s just a really nice IPA.

500ml bottle. Pours sickly pale with no head. Aroma is sweat, soap, bread. Not great. Once it gets to the mouth things improve a lot. Slick, refreshing body. Flavours of peach, coriander, mandarins, caramel. It’s light and drinkable because of the wheat malt and it’s really quite refreshing. Close to being very good.

Bottle at Hair of the Dog, Phrom Phong. Poured a clear medium amber with a frothy white head. The aroma is citrus caramel. The flavour is moderate bitter with a big citrus fruit woody hop palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

On tap at the Lumsden. Aroma is grapefruit, gooseberry and bread. Flavour is gooseberry, caramel, sherbet and a little toast. Really quite delicate, and very tasty.

Pours amber with a small head.Nose shows piny, spicy and herbal hops by the truckload, some petrol notes though. A fair bit of sweet clean malt.Flavours inlcude heavy piny and spicy hops as well as heavy clean syrupy malt.

[9/24/16] Bottle sample at Borefts Beer Festival 2016 in Bodegraven. Day two. Golden. Aroma of somewhat skunky hops. Flavor has sweetish malt, caramel, and bitter hops. Medium-bodied.

Bottle shared at Hair of the dog, Phrom Phong. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of huge caramel malt, way too much for the style, citrus, tropical fruits, orange peel and woody bites also coming out. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with a juicy resinous hop coating palate and soft carbonation.
