Smell of hops, spruce. Golden colour, white head. Aroma of spruce, hops, some citrus, finishes with flowers. Rather wild carbon. Very bitter. Very nice and challenging IPA.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - BB 08.07.14, from Systembolaget, 20140320) The beer poured amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, herbalness and malts. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, mildly cardboard, some sweetness and low bitterness. Aftertaste was hoppy, sweet and bitter. Aroma promised more but unfortunately the taste was musty and messy. Old rating: 8-3-6-3-12

(Re-rate, keg at Kitty’s, 20150103) The taste was better; flavours were fruitiness, citricness and creamy toffee. Aftertaste was good, too, having fruitiness and bitterness in balance.

Bottle at The Southern, shared with Ashton McCobb. Pours clear gold, thick white head. Aromas are very strong - onion and hop resin. Pine and tropical fruit on the taste, some caramel malt backbone. Crisp finish. Lovely stuff.

On tap at the Southern. Appearance - Nose - pungent fruit like almost going off. Lots of resin and earthiness. Some tangerine. Taste - loads of tangerine some spicy earth vegetables. Maybe parsnips. Palate - medium bodied with a tangy texture and a relatively fresh finish. Slightly aggressive carbonation. Overall - good ipa that verges on imperial. Overall -

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Almost clear, light amber colour. Lots of fine bubbles keep a thin, white head going. Oranges. Light caramel. Soft toffee. Some grassiness. Hint of ripe banana. Taste is chewy sweet, with a decent, but not overwhelming, pithy bitterness. Smooth, light oily palate. Juicy, light bitter finish.

33 cl bottle (6.7%) @ William K. Kurvi, BBE 15.08.2014
Aroma is strong on caramel. Also some gluey and fruity tones. Flavour has fruity hops, glue, caramel and some harsh mineral tones. Finishes with lingering hops. Too much glue here.
