Panda at home, thanks to Graham - Grumbo, 12/07/2025.
Slightly dirty golden to copper pour topped with a lasting just off white head.
Nose is pale malts, herb, grains, cardboard.
Taste comprises tangy fruits, biscuit, herb, hedgerow.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close.
So so affair ... should have called it a pale lager and gained more respect from that approach!

14/6/2025. Can courtesy of Bruno, cheers! Pours clear pale golden with a small frothy white head. Aroma is husky, grainy, cereals, veggie, worty. Not a great aroma. Tasted a bit better but still not great. Not so good.

16oz can brought from Golden in Colorado to California for me by an friend, cheers John. The can is contract brewed by Golden City, which is why I've ended up with it. Anyway I am about to pour it into a Temecula Football Club pint sleeve at my daughters in Laguna Hills, it's 19:30 on 18th July 2023. Slight haze to the light golden body, thin white crust on top. This style has always left me 'cold', even when visiting the brewpubs in Koln, it's just a refreshing but fairly uninteresting and bland beer in my opinion; this version does nothing to change my thoughts. Light corny/grainy nose, some grainy sweetness in the taste, but not enough to get excited about. Be great if it had been brewed in Nepal, but it's from Golden's second largest brewery and they couldn't get it Crystal clear like a real Kolsch.
