Bottle picked up from NC over Labor Day weekend. Poured a clear amber color with a medium sized white head. Aroma was some light pine notes, some floral character to it as well. Light, grapefruit and pine, with some resin notes. Floral notes. Okay.

I like rum and I like trippels but this doesn’t work. Pours golden with OK head and lacing. Lots of rum and only light sense of florals or coriander. Finishes barrelly and boozy bitterness. Bottle shared by someone via Jerry at Churchkey.

12oz bottle, courtesy of markwise, pours with a nice murky amber body that supports a thin light tan head. The aroma offers up molasses, prunes, brown sugar, some nuttiness and then mild smooth bourbon and booze. Nice indeed. The taste starts smooth and rich with molasses and smooth nutty sweetness and then quickly picking up brown sugar dredged prunes and dates amid a pleasing pine hoppiness. Just as the dark fruity esters start to reach nectar goodness the smooth sweet bourbon notes come to the surface with more nuttiness and some modest booze to help bring this to the finish. This is a great sipper.

35 cl bottle, 5.6%, 2.30€. Gassy bottle, pours pale yellow, hazed, enormous expandig soapy white head, spicy and fruity nose. Aroma: dunghy wheat, loads of yeast, earth, leafy hops, ripe banana, citrus, spices. Taste is sweetish, mild balance, tart. Medium bodied, quite thick texture, heavily carbonated. Lemony finish with fuel notes already. OK weizen from oversea, but far away from German ones.

Bottle as shown. Pours a cloudy amber with small frothy beige head that lasts. The aroma is dark fruits and caramel. Bready malt and caramel with sweet finish. Decent.
