Bottle 35,5 cl. Pours a cloudy, opaque amber with an off-white head. Thick caramellish aroma combined with quite some hops. Rich body, caramel and fruit with a lingering tart note. Some warming alcohol. Has some perfumy hops. An oddity. 120713

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a murky dark brown color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left good lacing. The aroma was sweet fig, cherry and strong brown sugar. The flavor was tobacco, brown sugar, fig, booze and hints of toffee and coffee. Long brown sugar, fig and tobacco finish. Medium body. Interesting.

12 ounce bottle. Pours a jet black color with a medium beige head. A really nice aroma of rye and spicy hops. Reminds me of Dubhe a bit. The flavor is great: charred wood, smoke, rye, tropical fruit, light bitterness. Big milky chocolates. Very smooth and tasty.

This beer is a hazy orange color with a medium off-white head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of grainy malt and hops. Medium to full, syrupy body with flavors of resiny hops, malt and grain. The finish is moderately bitter with a piney hops aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz. bottle. Dark, muddy brown with a medium, creamy, off-white head. Aroma of chocolate pudding, cinnamon, lactose, and toffee. Very sweet flavor, with no discernible hop profile. Medium body, chalky, and clean. Overall, this is a very dry and spicy ale. Not bad!
