Cask at the Birmingham Brewing Co taproom, 18/02/23. Pale golden blonde with a white cap that retains well. Nose is pale malts, toasted grains, straw, light citric peel. Taste comprises citric tinged straw, lemon rind, grains, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest hop bitterness. Passable pale.

Taste comprises toasted malts, lemon nip, grass, orange peel, light breads. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close splashed with modest hop bitterness. Passable.

Draft at the source. I could've entered this as a session IPA but it's over 4% so I went for pale ale. Can easily be changed. Clear bright yellow color, massive dense white head. Aroma of lightly spiced lemon. Taste is peppery citrus. OK
