33 cl clear bottle, 1800 KRW or so. Pale yellow color, clear, short soapy head, fizzy. Sweet wet grains, cardboard, corn and unmalted stuff. Sweetish taste, light salty, carbonated, dusty texture, dryish finish. I guess this is the korean version of Corona/Sol, soft drink, maybe quaffable with lemon and a cup of salty peanuts, and nonetheless a lemon version exists.

66 cl bottle at a restaurant. Pale yellow color. Persistent soapy head, fizzy. Sweet grains and unmalted stuff. Sweetish taste, dusty texture, dryish finish. Watery texture, thin body. Very cold can be refreshing, at least.

Bottle - Skunky euro pills. Pale gold with a decent white head. Light sweet with some skunk. As usual crappy lager.

650mL bottle, pours a clear pale yellow with a small white head. Aroma is quite sharp, with crisp herbal, grassy, skunky notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with the same, skunky notes and detergent. Really pissy, shit lager as expected.

Flasche (640 cl) aus einem Supermarkt in Gwangju. - Goldgelb, blank. - Sehr schwache Nase: nur ein Hauch von süßlichem Malz und eine Andeutung von Herbe. - Antrunk mild hellmalzig mit angenehmer zart säuerlicher Note. Der milde Malzcharakter überwiegt bis zuletzt; der Hopfen ist nur angedeutet, mit schwach fruchtiger Orange und einem Hauch von Kräutertee. Mild rezent. - Im direkten Vergleich zu Hite ("All new") zeigt sich schonungslos die sterile, plastikartige Künstlichkeit des letzteren. Das OB dagegen ist durchaus trinkbar, verdient aber wegen viel zu schwacher Hopfung nicht die Bezeichnung „Pilsner“. Trotzdem deutlich besser als die allermeisten Supermarktbiere Südkoreas.

Can in Singapore. In comparison to the "normal" Dester not too much difference. Easy to drink, a bit grainy-watery. Not much bitterness in the end and a grainy slightly sweetish aftertaste. Probably a bit more balanced, but this could be an illusion.
