Bottle. Looks great with a pitch black body under a small, lacing beige head. Aroma is light roasted dark malt with a hint of licorices. Flavor is sweet, pretty smooth dark malt, hint of licorices, molasses, balanced bitterness and warming alcohol. Full bodied and long lasting aftertaste. Not very complex really, basically lots of dark malt with low roast, not much coffee, chocolate and the regular imp. stout flavors, but made in a very balanced way. All the sweetness feels balanced against the alcohol and bitterness, I just find this beer very pleasant to drink with no further due.

330ml bottle bought at Vinmonopolet Sentrum Tromsø. The oily pour reveals a jet black body, a remaining tan-coloured head and spotty lacing on the glass. Nose is mid-sweet dark malts with hints of dried fruits. Creamy dark malty flavours, impact of cocoa, molasses and liquorice. Lingering aftertaste with notes of ripe fruits. Fine depth. Likable night cap sipper on a dark Yuletide eve. (Tromsø 26.12.2017).

Gulbrun klar med fingerhøyt hvitt skum som ligger lenge. Lukter sitrus, grapefrukt og og blomster. Middelsminus i fylde. Godt med humlebitterhet, sitrusskall, sitron, og blomster. Kort. Frisk.

330ml bottle picked up at Gulating Ølutsalg, Tromsø. Cloudy amber-reddish body, low off-white head, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate ripe fruity nose. Ripe citrus flavours, mealy backbone. Mild citrus peels to the ending. Soft in the mouth. Satisfying. (Tromsø 20.12.2017).

On tap at Oslo Mikrobryggfest. Has a hazy dark straw colour with an off-white head. Fruity aroma with lots of tropical fruits, grass and dry hay. The flavor is more grassy, pine, pale malt and subtle tropical fruits. A little dry in the end. Has a slick and silky mouth feel, medium body and a medium bitterness. Fruity and nice hoppy IPA.

Bottled 330ml (Vinmonopolet)
Hazy yellow colour, small steady white head. Fruity (pear, apple), Belgian yeasty nose. Medium-bodied. Pear and green apple in the sweetish flavour. Some alcohol, low on bitterness. Decent Belgi-effort to drink once.

Svart. Brunt skum. Aroma av melkesjokolade. Myk munnfølelse. Smaken lakris & sjokolade. Behagelig tørr ettersmak. Gjennomgående vaniljepreg. Utmerket øl med alkoholen godt integrert.
