Draught @ the taproom. Dark brown with red highlights, creamy dark beige head, coffee aroma, adequate carbonation, medium bitter coffee/cocoa nibs taste, caramel, toffee, smooth body, long coffee finish. A satisfying brew.

16 oz can from Beerbox. Pours hazy orange-golden with a one finger cream-white head with good retention. Aroma has notes of pine, crackery malt, overripe fruit. Taste has a light to moderate pithy bitterness backed by minimal sweetness. Very solid straightforward IPA. I’m not getting any mango and I can’t find anything about this supposedly having mango in it like is described in the description here. Maybe that was a one-off variation?

Draught @ Beer On The Wall - Elmhurst IL (Sept 2024). Opaque dark brown with a small frothy tan head that dissipates quickly leaving a ring behind, dark chocolate-bourbon aroma, low carbonation, bitter dark chocolate-bourbon taste, alcohol undertones, toffee flavor, thin body, long chocolatey finish. Tasty and well balanced.

Can from Tavour. Pours clear copper/amber with a transient white head. Aroma is quite malty. Med body. Flavor is toffee/caramel with some grass/spice. Malty, but seems dry. Bitterness is moderate. Not quite like other ambers I can recall. Much stronger flavor than many. Good.
