Bottle at Toogoloog Middlekirke. Hazy deep amber colour lasting cream head. Good west coast style ipa Lots of pink grapefruit. Plenty of body to carry the hop but never too toffee or caramel. Good bitterness on the finish. One of the best PNW ipa I've had and I am in Belgium .its really good so fruity. Pink grapefruit shouts out but its not infused. Just hop flavour

Bottle at Toogoloog Middlekirke. Clear gold amber colour lasting white head. Some crystallised citrus fruits on aroma tangerine and grapefruit. That's pretty good. And I've had a lot of tripels. That is solid. Good fruit. Good hoppy bitter finish. Doesn't allow sweetness to get out of hand. Loved it.

Smell- medium strong, bit tingling, caramel, malt, faint Belgian tones, spice. Foam- thin, roast, caramel, malt, weak bitter tones, sweetness, sugar, ticking feel, bitter tones, faint Belgian tones. The head is quite large, white with a light brown tint. Sticks a bit. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Clear-ish orange amber in color, no carbonation. From - pint Taste - weak caramel, sweetness, malt, weak bitter tones, Belgian tones, sugar, tingling sweetness feeling, Belgian tones. Alcohol covered by sweetness. Nice, sweet Belgian. I like.

Smell-weak caramel, Belgian tones, malt. Foam- thin, sweet, caramel, malt faint alcohol, faint Belgian tones. Head is small, dirty white in color. Appearance- brewer bottle cap, simple label. Clear orange, brown amber in color, no carbonation. From - snifter Taste - malty, caramel, sweetness, alcohol, Belgian yeast. Semi-sweet, malty and boozy Belgian. Bit too boozy, otherwise would be fine.

Large tight white head on a hazy dark golden coloured body. Orange, spices & yeast aroma. Medium bodied, smooth with a tingle on the back. Orange, malt, Belgian yeast, chalky & tangy hop tastes. Standard.

The ‘blonde’ and thus tripel version of strong dark Ferre, bottle from the Carrefour hypermarket in Sint-Denijs-Westrem. Snow white, moussy, dense, membrane-lacing head, misty golden blonde robe with vague peachy hue. Aroma of dried apricot, banana peel, old potatoes, sulfuric DMTS, cauliflower, clove (strong 4-vinyl-guaiacol), cooked soup meat, dried mugwort, unripe pear, honey, green beech leaves. Fruity, estery onset, ripe pear, medium banana and some peach; fizzy carbonation, honeyish residual sweetness over a white-bready and cereally malt core with pronounced 4-vinyl-guaiacol effect (clove, cooked meat) and earthy yeastiness, along with a floral but quite ‘long’ and earthy hop bitter note. Some warming, gin-like alcohol, but at acceptable levels for the genre. Some errors here, and in that sense clearly less solid than the original quad versions – another totally redundant example of a style ridiculously overexposed in this country.

Bruin bier met schuim. Smaak is vrij zoet met wat whiskey, vanille en een beetje zoet fruit. Heel goed.

33cl bottle. A clear reddish brown beer with a big beige head. Aroma of mild vanilla, dark ripe fruits, wood, booze. Taste of dried dark fruits, vanilla, wood, boozy finish.
