Keg at Protokoll, Berlin, 23/07/22. Hazed reddish orange topped with a light crimson cap. Nose is citric sherbets, red berry must, balsa wood, light funk. Taste comprises berry pips, lime zest, herb, damp straw, funk, balanced acidic rise, blackberry yoghurt. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a puckering bite. Fun enough sour ... drinks easy for the double digit ABV ... similarly lacks depth.

[33cl can from Beer52.] A cola brown coloured pour with a fast fading beige; aroma of roasted grains and salted caramel; sharp fruity taste - blackberry perhaps; then some roasted nuts to finish with a little salt. Not a beer I'd try again.

[44cl can from Beer52.] A hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; tropical fruit aroma; smooth in the mouth with a sharp tropical fruit taste; then a creamy finish with some pithy citrus bitterness. A bit muddled.

Bottle with a bit of age on it, thanks to my bro. It pours lightly hazy rich orange with a bubbly white head. The aroma is musty, funky, barnyard, orange sherbet, fanta, tango, mango, vinous, white wine, granny smith apple, gooseberry, soor plooms, lemony sherbet, damp hay and must. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, bright acidity, lactic, tangy, gooseberry, white wine, splash of white wine vinegar, salt n vinegar crisps, granny smith apple, orangey, fanta, sherbet, deep funk, barnyard and must with a drying, slightly acidic finish. Medium body and fine, prickly carbonation. Nice depth and well rounded.
