From the bottle. Golden amber colour with small white fluffy head. Very very clear. Aroma is malty, bit of honey, bit of marzipan. Slightly stinky too. Taste is caramel malt, slightly sweet (honey) bit of bitterness towards the end. Slightly sugary. Bit thin in the mouth. All in all, not bad, but not really my kind of thing. --- Beer merged from original tick of Ringwood Fortyniner (Bottle) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:06 - Score: Appearance - 4 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 7 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 6. Bottle. Amber color. Toffee in the somewhat vinous aroma. Vinous, caramelly sweet flavor with nots of licorice and tobacco. Nutty bitter aftertaste. Somewhat sticky.

Cask at Bear, Stafford Well they are right about the blueberries ! Nose has plenty of them in there. Pours a pale gold with a small white head. Is slow to settle but does eventually clear (5 mins ?). Fruity sweetness in the mouth, blueberries, mango, a hint of lemon. But also hoppiness and it is that which comes out in the finish. OK, but a bit bland all round. And it’s definitely not an NEIPA because it isn’t cloudy / hazy at all.

Bottle. Coppery, medium offwhite, med lasting. Fruity nose, some biscuits, not so nice. Mild taste, hint of sweetness, mild bitterness, but quite sharp. Metallic aftertaste, strong. Light. Very poor.
