Tap at Whole Foods. Steady white head, rapid rising carbonation bubbles. Clean, crisp lager. Really nails it for a balance of quality ingredients and supreme drinkability. Smooth, cool mouthfeel. Really solid beer. Brewers can't believe how the skills have gotten.

Can, 2024 vintage. Caramel aroma with notes of toffee, dark fruit, vanilla, bourbon and oak. Pours deep toffee brown colored with a thin tan head that has very little retention and little lacing. Starts with caramel, toffee and vanilla flavors as well as having a rich, full body and sticky, decadent mouthfeel. Finishes impeccably smooth with dark fruit, bourbon and oak flavors as well as a bit of warming booze at the end. Wonderful.

Pour looks like clear iced tea with a large white head. Aroma is a little grain and caramel malt. Flavor is a bigger grain than the aroma let on. Fresh ground bready malt with just a touch of sweetness and no bitterness at all. I don't know what would make this a winter lager but the fresh crushed grain is tasty.

When I popped the lid, this cute little can of buddy squirted and foamed all over the place. Luckily I had enough left to taste out of a small brandy sniffer, whew. Very light pale yellow, and the head of course, was white and about 4 inches thick. Most of the glass was white head and a tiny amount of pale lager in the bottom. Smell is a pleasant clean lager nose with a tad of cream corn sweetness, typical fresh pale lager olfactory. First taste is sortah mix of some helles and a touch of pils mild bitter bite. A little more personality than the common macro. Lots of cutting carbonation on the palate, I like that. Before I knew it, the can was gone! Not bad. Could drink about 8 of these endearing little pony cans, hehehehh.
