16 oz. can, thanks Tim! From the can by the pool. The aroma is butterscotch, guava, pine sap, and quinine. Sweet and malty, with a big, acerbic bitterness. Medium body, sharp, yet oddly creamy. Reasonable.

On tap at Cigar City, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is full of chili peppers and cinnamon upfront, followed by cocoa and subtle bourbon barrel. Flavour is rich, with a nice explosion of chili and cinnamon upfront to complete the cocoa and dark sugars. The bourbon is more laid back but does serve to accentuate the base and adjuncts. Excellent.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a muddy deep dark brown with no head. Aroma is massive, with intense rum barrels upfront, followed by gentle red wine, sticky sugars, and alcohol — this is not goinf to be subtle. Flavour is not too brutal, with big rum and red wine notes, but I don't get the whiskey; there's tons of sugars, caramel, and booze. It's borderline too brutal but there's definitely plenty to like. The opposite of drinkable. Good in tiny amounts.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite dank, with grassy hops, some pot, and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is dry, with dank hops, grassy hops, and toasted biscuity malt. Finishes quite bitter and dry. Decently constructed.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is estery and sugary, with Belgian yeast gone wrong, candi sugar, and more generic estery sweetness. Flavour is less sweet and estery than the nose suggested, with fermented out sugars and floral notes, but also a light phenolic character I could do without. Typical American Belgian strong — too estery, not carb'd enough, and just doesn't use the Belgian yeast properly.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma is full of citrusy hops, some pine, a touch of allium, and juicy stone fruits in back. Flavour is quite bitter, with allium, earthy hops, and light armpit character. Something seems suboptimal in the hop expression. Not disastrous by any means but this could be improved.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a clear golden amber with a small beige head. Aroma is fairly juicy and tropical, with resinous hops, tropical stone fruits, and caramel malt. Flavour is juicy and bitter, with big resinous hops, some pine, stone fruit, some pith, and big chewy bready caramel malt to back. The alcohol can be felt, as the finish has a slight burn. Juicy and bright. Excellent.

On tap at Cigar City, pours a hazy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is super fruity and juicy, with big citrusy hops, tropical fruits, stone fruits, and light pine. Flavour is super juicy and citrusy, with lots of citrusy hops, juicy stone fruits, some tropical notes, and moderate bitterness. Sort of like an old school meets new school IIPA, with tons of juiciness and yet high bitterness. Excellent.
