In the past, the beer industry in Indonesia has always been pilsener or lager.
Two well-traveled and huge beer enthusiasts, Bona Budhisurya and Jacob Suryanata recognised that there was a need for better quality and good tasting beers. Passionately about this idea, they made it their mission to produce Indonesian craft beer that can compete on a world stage. Craft brewing in the Northern mountains on The Island of the Gods, Bali. We are proud to say that we are producing the only beer made in Bali which is also the only craft beer in Indonesia.

A dark brown ale with a thick frothy lacing collapsing brown head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with dark fruits and soapy notes, light mineral notes. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity dark malt with light fruity notes, peated notes, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, surprisingly nice, compared to the regular wheat. Bottle from Bali.

A hazed golden wheat ale with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, light grassy malt, light mineral notes, a bit soapy. In mouth, sweet cloying wheat and banana esters, cloves, light mineral notes, watery. Bottle from a supermarket in Bali.

Bottled at Ottawa gathering. Hazy golden, small head. Aroma of mango juice. Sweet with medium body and clean mouthfeel. Mango juice dominates completely. Low bitterness. Simplistic, but not much different to some very hyped beers.

A hazed golden ale with a thin white head. In aroma, loads of mango juice, light citrus, nice and smooth. In mouth, sweet cloying mix of beer and mango juice, light mineral notes, OK. Bottle from Seminyak. Tasted with GRM and Omhper, March 2017.

Bottle (Thanks to goodzon ). Hazy brown color, good creamy foam. Aroma: banana, caramel, candy, dried banana, a little prunes. Taste: caramel, banana, yeast, a little dried fruit, sparkling.
