Pale yellow from bottle. Grassy cider aroma. Cereal malts. Light hops. Kind of boring.

Tight off white head on a dark brown body. Chocolate & malt aroma. Medium bodied, smooth, foamy & clean. Burnt, roasted chocolate, liquorice & tobacco tastes with a bitter finish. That's a damn fine Porter.

Can via BrewDog. It pours darkest brown with a small beige head. The aroma is rich roasted malt, earthy, umami, coffee grounds, liquorice, cacao nibs, bourbon biscuits, touch of caramel, mars bar and earth. The taste is dry, rich roasted malt, some decent bitterness which lingers, cacao nibs, charred action, earthy, toothy, burnt pine, bourbon biscuits, spicy, coffee grounds and a touch of tobacco with a dry roasted finish. Medium+ body and average carbonation. A nice robust porter, the likes of which I haven't had in a while. Satisfying.

Lightly hazy copper with a white head. Lightly hopped with a cover of malt. Pine, caramel, lightly fruity throughout. Medium bodied. Finish has a nice spicy bitterness. A fairly simple, tasty beer.

On draught at Ohio Taproom during the "Kindred Ales Mini Tap Takeover" event on 05/18/2016. Clear dark orange-gold color with a medium thin white head that diminishes quickly to a wispy film. Short strings of lacing. Hops, malt and fruit in the nose. Medium body with flavors of piney hops, fruit and grainy malt. The finish is mildly bitter with a short hoppy aftertaste. Decent overall.

Reviewed from notes.
The appearance had a light golden yellow colored body yielding a one finger white foamy head, streams of slowly moving carbonation are seen rising. Some spotty lacing is left here and there around the pint glass.
The smell had malts and butteriness up front, yet some slight distinct notes of hops faintly in the background.
The taste was sweet and smooth through the malts.
The palate sat about a medium with some light harshness on the tongue. It leaves a buttery aftertaste and a sticky finish. This is a fairly sessionable beer as the alcohol really isn’t tasted or felt whatsoever.
Overall, this was not bad, but nothing spectacular. This was decent for its style and just average to me.

Cloudy Amber Color, Medium Frothy Head, Decent Lacing. Faint Pine Floral Hop Aroma. Malt, Light Sweetness and Pine Hops. While it is drinkable, it really does not stand out in today’s over saturated craft beer scene. Therefore this has to be rated from a different perspective - as a very first craft beer that has started it all when macros ruled it all. Not bad At All.

Ok, so I was fooled that it was not sam addams. In my clear Harley Davidson mug from Iceland, thanks daughter! Smell? is very mild perfumy hop aroma. Yep, smells quite like a good beer. Nice clear yello pour with a big head. First taste is aggressive ale attributes but never approaches ipa territory, just a simple ale. Some decent co2. Yes, there is no sediment on the bottom of this bottle. Keeps annoying my taste buds but it never gets over the top in rude hop flavors, just simple cleaner hop flavors. Not cloying nor is it lasting. more cloudy yellah as I get near the bottom of the bottle. Towards the finish it seems to be ok. Could deal with it again. Well, fairly good overall beer experience, pleasantly surprised. Yes, not really too bad for an ale, heheh. This coming from a lager lover.
