Head gone in seconds. Almost clear chestnut-mahogany beer. Sweet chestnuts (indeed) or nuts. Lots of caramel. Honeycovered apero nuts. Caramel, even toffee, very faintly coffee. Some nice diluted syrup for desserts. At least medium bodied, slightly oily, soft carbonation. A Doppelbock from down under, and not bad at all. May you live in interesting times! Can. Very cloudy yellowish orange, large white head. Rather lemony aroma with wheaty crackers, cloves. Not soft or bready, but thin with sharp citrus and spices. Is this what they were going for?
