Bottle at home, from DeBierkonig, 25th March 18. Pours black, not much head. Aroma is citrus, some chocolate, taste is cocoa, bitter, some citrus hops. Not bad.

Hazy blond with lacy head. Aroma and flavour are slightly funky and slightly sour. There's a soda water texture to it. Slight fruity sourness.

Bottle @ home. Fresh, malty, sweet, slightly bitter, slightly grassy. I like it, but it's not very exciting or extreme. And sometimes that's fine. Medium body, nice crisp carbo.

Bottle from het Biermoment, BB 15 Dec 19. Dark color, big frothy head. Aroma of big vanilla, some chocolate and a bit of roast. Very sweet in taste of vanilla and some lactose, some chocolaty bitterness and a hint of roast, some toffee sweetness as well. A bit high on vanilla, but base beer seems decent enough.

33cl Bottle from Vonk. Almost clear reddish amber colour, off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus, some hops, resin, light spicy. Flavour is medium sweet, malty, resin, toffee, some hop bite, spruce, bitter finish. Light bodied, watery texture. Another so-so Bird brew, still not convinced.

Mahogany brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have plenty of sweet malts. There's a lot of syrupy sweet fruits but also some bitterness in the finish.

8 3 8 3 16 Draft at De Paas. Clear amber brown with a tan head. Aroma of caramel, toffee, malt and light overripe dark fruits. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter. Above medium bodied with light carbonation.

Dark brown pour with a thin, velvety tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark cherries, toasted caramel, marsmallows, vanilla, cocoa. Nice one.
