Description
Founded in 2008, Camba originally served as showroom for brewery plant manufacturer BrauKon. Markus Lohner, founder of BrauKon and Camba, used the small brewery located in Truchtlaching to demonstrate clients from all over the world what BrauKon brewing equipment could do. With success: Camba soon became one of the first breweries in Germany to brew international beer styles and a pioneer of the German craft beer scene. In 2016, Camba Bavaria and BrauKon had to find a bigger location and moved to the village of Seeon,

0.5 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before March 2026. Hazy, golden with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, quite yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity-floral aroma of banana, clove, honey and light pear. Gently sweet, malty, moderately bitter, rather yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity-floral taste of banana, clove, nutmeg, some honey and a touch of pear, followed by a short, moderately bitter, a bit chalky finish. Medium body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Decent Weizen.

Pale gold with a foamy, white head. Pungent, dank aroma with citrus and mango underneath. Taste is largely empty—then turns faintly mineral bitter. Finishes with a dough-like sweetness. Medium bodied, decent chewiness for the style. Ok for the style.

A clear golden yellow beer with a white head. Aroma of dry grassy and citrusy hops, strong pale malt. Taste of semi strong pale malt, straw, some honey, hay.

On tap at Taphouse Frankfurt, pours a clear pale golden with a small white head. Aroma has bright herbaceous notes, grew, and straw. Flavour is bright hebraceous notes, areas, and ligihtly sweet cereal malt. Flavour is crisp, with lightly sweet cereal malt, straw, and crisp biscuity malt. Clean and pleasant.

Hazy golden/yellow. Aroma is lemon noble hops grassy hops quite a few grains. Taste is fresh lemon with somewhat bitter herbal and lots of grainy almost rustic body. Still rather light on the tongue. Quite drinkable. Not bad.

0.5 l bottle from 'Rudat', best before July 2026. Almost clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly floral and minimally fruity aroma of caramel, honey, some nuts and traces of sultanas. Quite sweet, malty, moderately bitter, slightly floral and minimally fruity taste of honey, caramel, some nuts and light sultanas, followed by a short, moderately bitter finish. Medium to full body, gently effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Pleasant Märzen.
