Description
Founded in 2008, Camba originally served as showroom for brewery plant manufacturer BrauKon. Markus Lohner, founder of BrauKon and Camba, used the small brewery located in Truchtlaching to demonstrate clients from all over the world what BrauKon brewing equipment could do. With success: Camba soon became one of the first breweries in Germany to brew international beer styles and a pioneer of the German craft beer scene. In 2016, Camba Bavaria and BrauKon had to find a bigger location and moved to the village of Seeon,

Can picked up from Fristo Getrankemarkt, Freising and consumed at home Saturday 7th February 2026 listening to Anna von Hausswolff - Iconoclasts and we have Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests). Pours hazy yellow/orange with a large white head. A little bit boozy, however there is a nice softness in the mouth, a touch of banana and wheatiness flood through, there is a distinct tangy edge, good and easy drinking but I think that we've been spoilt by the regular IPA which was great. Score 7.1

Can picked up from Fristo, Freising and consumed at home Saturday 7th February 2026, listening to Anna Von Hauswolff - Iconoclasts. We've got Nidi di Tagliatelle al forno (baked pasta nests) for tea tonight. Pours hazy yellow/gold with a large sticky white head, peachy on the nose with a little bit of pineapple, lovely building bitterness that runs and runs. We really like the regular DIPA which we sort of have as a core beer but at 8.9% it's a beast this is more manageable and tbf has pretty much everything that the DIPA offers but slightly more gentle, it is a great beer. Score 7.9

440ml can, I think my first Wiess style Kölsch. Slightly hazed gold with a dense white head that never fades. Aroma of sweet caramel and bready malts. Taste is sweet, caramel, bready and grainy malts, honey, herbal/spicy hops, maybe a hint of citrus, leans more into its bitterness towards the end and finishes somewhat dry. Medium bodied.

Can from Craft beer shop, drunk watching Fallout S2 finale. Lightly hazy golden beer with a huge head of bubbles. Nice dank aroma with tropical fruits, pineapple, pine, citrus. Quite juicy, good balance of malt/body/big bitterness. Very smooth and easy to like!

Black with a frothy, beige head. Aroma promises licorice and roasted grains. Taste is charred bitter with faint vinous hints over an underlying sweet chocolate base. Body is the highlight, amazingly smooth and creamy, balanced carbonation, infinitely chewy—perfect for a porter. This was very nicely done.

Can picked up from Äpfel Getrankemarkt Moosburg and consumed at home Sunday 4th January 2026 after a 15km hike from home via Brotjackelreigel to Steinberg Skilift. We had Burmese Meatballs and Rice for tea, listening to Baxter Dury - Allbarone. Pours pitch black with a perfect sized tan head. Roasty bitterness on the nose but more subtle than expected. Roasty and bitter in the mouth, smooth, there's a little bit of creaminess but it's chocolate, little bitter cocoa. This is fab' score 8.1
