On tap at Second Chance, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle, oily, piney hops and a dry biscuity malt base. Flavour is dry and piney, with a nice pine cone hop character and dry biscuity malt base. Clean, piney and dry. Simple but well-made.

Aromas are dark and caramel malts some toast. Flavors are somewhat similar to nose with a lot more going on. A little more bitter than sweet and balanced with just right carbonation. Add in some nutmeats, toffee. Kind of like an ale version of an old fashioned traditional Oktoberfest/Marzen.

If it wasn't on the label, I'd never associate gummies and this beer. Aroma is tart and fruity, some yeast. Flavors are similar to nose, tart and fairly dry. A bit of sweet in the finish. It's okay.

Shoer goblet at the source. Clear amber, bright, medium gold. Sharp, rich toast, decent acid, boring middle, toasty rich crust finish. Lime, oats, dusty toasty sharp, whatever beer. Just okay. A bit boring.

6.6% edition @the source. Goblet. Orange, pale, dull hazy. Tired of this shit. Orange, herby, sweet onion, lime, parsley. Gentle & herbaceous. Soft carb, juicy body, strong abv, though no one cares anymore. Okay to good.

Goblet pour at the source. Clear, very amber, basic tea. Cranberry apple box juice, some cherry pith, mostly cheap grapes, sulfites & pedestrian filler. Taste is generic, artificial gummies & apple box juice, with lingering cranberry & oak. Dry, lemon tea, basic tea tannins. Flat. Bleh.
8/8/25: Tried again while in Chula Vista with my wife.
Moatlvxlear, peachy plum pour, soapy lace.
Smell is Skittles & confectionary, maybe some extra cherry.
Taste is apple-cherry juice box& melted Skittles. Thinned out but pretty much what you would expect.
Frothy, fizzy, thin, confectionary.
Nostalgic yet forgettable.

On tap at the source, same base as the OG Porter. Goblet, russet, deep dark amber. Weak oatmeal head. Toast and strong coconut flake scent. Obvious cocoa, cola, cola acidity, faint toast. Lingering watery coffee. Super thin & boring. Zzzz...

Tap @the source. Small goblet. Russet, clear, very dark amber pour. Basic toast, mellow earth, boring. Taste is dirty earth, toast, scootch of vanilla, mellow, basic. Thin, short acid, expecting. Whatever.
