Can from Total Wine in Vacaville California. Pours gold with a huge white head that persisted. Aroma has a lot of citrus. Medium body. Flavor is citrus, white berry earth, and a touch of resin. Malt is discernible, but this is not a sweet beer. Bitterness is to me short of West Coast but that could be just me. Overall, it’s a very nice drink.

pours near black with a one finger light tan head. Roasty, chocolatey aroma. The flavor is dark roast malt, coffee, and chocolate. It’s medium bodied, a quite tasty porter.

Can (10/31/23) pour from Valley Beverage. Cloudy dark yellow with light sparkle, thin head with fair retention and light lacing. Aroma is strong citrus, stone fruit. Taste is orange and lemon citrus over stone fruit, hint of lime and herb. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Decent strength. Not groundbreaking but right for style.

Monday 25th September 2023, Shrewsbury Gathering in Chez Sophie, 5 blokes and loads of beer. 16oz can brought back from California by me. Almost clear light golden body, decent white crown. Piney hop front with some citrus notes alongside, nose and flavour wise.

On tap at Second Chance, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out some weird herbal, oniony hops — somewhat vegetal too. Flavour is oniony and vegetal in the hop department. Way too vegetal. This ain't pleasant.

On tap at Second Chance, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of oily, dank, piney hops, some resins and crisp biscuity malt. Flavour is oily, dank and piney in the hop department, with just enough dry biscuity malt. Piney and oily finish. Really nice hop expression.
