This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking transparent burnt red color. Carbonation could be seen rising to fill a thin bar pour’s kind of head. Lacing was stringy and spotty.
The smell starts off with some cherry to apple - like sweet fruitiness. Light tobacco rounds it out. Dried woodiness here and there.
The taste was mainly sweet through the fruits. Tobacco and woody edges lead into the background. Dry sweet fruity aftertaste leads into a quick dry finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs light.
Overall, this was a pretty good English Strong ale that I would have again.

The appearance was a nice looking somewhat dark hazy yet transparent brown color with some carbonation rising to fill a slim bar pour’s kind of head. Lacing slid in some semi-clingy rings.
The smell starts off with some dried sweet nuts. Light caramel notes slide in underneath dried hemp (comes across spicy).
The taste had dried sweet palatable flavor over top of the hemp, spicy once again. Light semi-sweet nutty to spicy character in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation seemed good for the style and for me.
Overall, I’d say this was a pretty good American styled brown ale that I would have again.

The appearance was a nice looking hazy dark brown color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute leaving some light ringy to semi-messy lacing all around.
The smell started off with a sharp sweet to bready muffin - like aroma taking in some blueberries to run over sweet and roasty coffee and chocolate beans. Somehow, it reminds me of Founder’s Breakfast Stout with someone crumbling blueberry muffins into it.
The taste was more Porter leaning as subtle roasty coffee and cocoa flavors become more pronounced over some light sweet blueberry as it warms.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly low allowing slight stickiness but not overbearing.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good Porter with a nice blueberry muffin sort of thing going on. I’d have again.

The smell started off with sweet orange pulp leading into a semi-sweet dry sticky resin to bitter spruce. Somewhat reminds me of Christmas tree.
The taste was mainly sprucy / resin sweet with a nice juicy sweet background of the hops bursting into dry sweet malts. A light sweet sticky citrus runs into the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation seemed good for the style and for me. Semi-smooth transition all around.
Overall, APA, sure fits and with the spruce, hell yeah, perfect for the season!

The smell starts off with rich sweet caramel malts up front allowing gentle roasty nuts and toffee to balance. Light toast as well.
The taste was mainly sweet with a moderate toast and roastiness balancing it all out.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs nice and low. Sweetness comes across dry on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good Irish Red ale.

Growler from pub: pours brownish red with off white head. Aroma is a bit of toffee and earthiness. Taste was unimpressive. I didn’t think it was gross like others here, but I was still unimpressed.

cloudy thin yellow. No nose at all. Very lemony, like lemon bread, very wheat heavy and a great body. thin taste but it has a nice mineral water taste.
