Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy tan-brown color wtih a large foamy off white head that left exceptional lacing. The aroma was sweet honey, bread, caramel and faint golden fruits. The flavor was dryish and nutty with a bit of caramel and coffee. Medium length nut and coffee finish. Medium body. Eh.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a hazy caramel-brown color with a huge creamy orange-white head that left good lacing. The aroma was fairly strong grapefruit and lemon. The flavor was tangy nut, caramel, grapefruit and a moderate rough earthy presence. Long rough earthy, nut and caramel finish. Moderately full bodied.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a dark amber color with a huge creamy and fluffy orange-white head that lingered and left incredible lacing. The aroma was faintly bitter sourdough bread and tangy golden fruit. The flavor was sweet and tangy - almost corny though a bit yeasty with an off presence I could not identify. Medium sweet tangy, yeasty and corny finish - again a bit off. Medium body.

Sampled on draft at the brewpub this beer poured a murky dark tan color with a large creamy peach-tan head that lingered forever and left incredible lacing. The aroma was tart, dryish and a bit chalky with faint vague fruits and a touch of nut. The flavor was tart, tangy and a bit sour with a bit of table sugar, vague citrus, Windex, perfume and a bit of raw bread dough. Medium length tart, sour, perfume and Windex finish. Moderately full bodied. Disappointing.

On tap at the brewerie. Dark presentation. Slightly roasty aroma makes my mouth water. Has an alky kick right from the start. Yes, alky bock feel all the way. However, even tho its rated at 7%, it seems to be a little more mild than that. Fairly easy to down. I’d say its not bad, I’ve had many rude bocks but this goes over fairly well without any medicine on the finish.

Very little hoppy aroma, if any. Yes, quite hoppy bitter but at first I didn’t think I tasted any hops. It evolves from the time it hits your tongue till the time it goes down the gullet. Gets more and more hoppy bitterness in there as the session continues. Nice lacing in this brew. leaves a medium hop bitterness on the finish but I must say, it is below average on hop bitterness compared to most IPA on this site. I don’t like IPA, so if you do, ignore my numbers and give this a try, you may like it.

This was simply called hefeweisen at the brewerie, so I’m hopping this is the right place to put it. I really am not sure because this one was really laced with clove, unlike what nate said below. Clear pale yellow, almost lemon yellow. Has a sweet perfumy aroma, like lots of cotton candy or something and then I feel a wave of clove on the olfactory. On the flavor, its overly clovey. This beer is way over the top in spices. Not sure what to thjink of this. I do like hefe, its one of my fave styles but this stuff seems a little artificial at times.

Not blond in appearance. Weird initial candy flavors. A little cloying on the commencement. Comes across rather dry even tho it is cloying, weird combonation of attributes. Decent co2. Not bad but would not do again. Has a slight wildness to it but its not really tart.

On tap at the brewerie. Nice and dark fer sure. Rootbeer in color. Slight slaggy aroma, but in a good way. Slag aroma carries over to the flavor. Pretty good and one of the better brewerie beers IMHO. Has some porter attributes in there. Grows on you during the session. decent amount of co2. Finsih is not bad, went down easy.

On tap at the station. When I had this, I thought it said appilation amber, could have been wrong. Has a lot of alky impact but not like 8% would indicate. Dark iced tea color. Leathery but lite in body in the palate. Very little aroma. Finish is not bad for such a high alky brew. If this is really an 8% beer, it hides its alky well.
