Did this side by side with the old Faxe Amber (1906 Classic). Identical colour of bright golden-amber. Aroma on this one is more alcohol oriented, with sweet caramel. Despite the lighter aroma, the flavour is stronger than its predecessor, mind you not as good. Just a flat, sweet, caramel syrup sort of thing. Sweet, flat finish. Not an improvement.

Can. Frothy white good mostly deminishing head. Amber colour. OK moderate malty aroma. Week flavor, short finish. Watery palate. Compared to other danish industrial ADL. blå x-mas: much worse.

(Bottle 33 cl) Clear, amber golden with a small, creamy, off-white head. Somewhat unclean malt aroma. Medium body, extremely sweet caramel notes with practically no hops to detect. Unbalanced. 270706

Bottled. Pale golden with a decent white head. Good carbonation and ok lacings. Malty and grainy, lightly fruity aroma. Malty flavor that could use more balance with hops. Thin body and a decent hop-level in the finish. (060719)

Bottle. Small head that fades right away. Color is amber. Vague aroma of malts. Taste is close to water - but actually not as good as clean water!!

Bottle. Creamy white good mostly lasting head. Powerfull initial yeasty aroma but alas no aroma after 30 secunds. Slightly bitter flavor. Short bitter finish. Deasent hefe but drink a german instead.
