(Bottle 33 cl) Very dark, almost black with a handsome but not very lasting head. Malty, roasted and caramelish and sweet - but not overly so. Almost no bitterness. Pleasant. 050102

(Can 50 cl) Beautiful, deep amber colour without much head. Fresh, floral and hoppy nose. Malty all right but not very sweet, as the bitter hops rule this beer. Exclusively for the German market. 171101

(Botle 33 cl) Neatly golden beer with a fine, lacing head. Slightly "bready" character, but without the unpleasant tang of metal and sweet cardboard so often found in non alcohols. Weak bitterness and absolutely no body or palate. 041001

(Can 50 cl) Comes as "Faxe Extra Strong" - made for Sweden, it’s simply too good for Denmark.
Beautifully golden with a nice, creamy head - collapses pretty fast though. Starts with a refined, perfumy edge, but every more subtle note is quickly drowned in alcohol. Lots and lots of alcohol. Tough one to finish. 031001

(Bottle 33 cl) Nice, pale brownish colour with a decent head. Weird phenolic tang in the first sip, but thankfully it vanishes. Very dry, malty body. Not much sweetness, nor bitterness. Not really thrilling. First berwed as a 100 year jubilee beer for Faxe in 2001. 031001

(Bottle 33 cl) Neatly pilsener golden with a fine - although collapsing - head. Lovely hoppy nose, good full body with the hops leaving more flavour than bitterness. Very pleasant and drinkable. 021001
