(Bottle 33 cl) Decent yellowish golden with a fine but fastly collapsing head. Weak hoppy nose, but a rather solid bitterness - more than what’s common in most Danish lagers. This is almost like a North German Pilsener. But solidly crafted. 310300

(Bottle 33 cl) I believe this is the only strong Ceres beer, that hasn’t been standardized under the "Ceres Royal" tag. Beautiful reddish brown with a fine, creamy head. It must be some very unusual malts used in this ’cause both in flavour and appearance this is one of the oddest Danish brews. Sweetish nose - almost like a desert wine. Sweetness also marked in the flavour with notes of both nuts and caramel. Added flavour and colour may explain some of the oddities. Not for everyone, but truly original. 190200

330 ml bottle. Red colour, fizzy beer with a low head that soon vanishes. Very moderate fruity aroma (red berries). Very light bodied, THIN mouthfeel, flavour has some notes of red berries and blackcurrants. Sourish and artifical tasting, weak hops, no malty base. Did I mention THIN? This a poor beer in my book. I drank it cool, not cold, would probably be more refreshing if ice cold - couldn’t possibly have done any harm to the flavour in this case.

An orange beer with a disappearing white head. The aroma is sweet and quite hoppy, but also with some sour notes. The flavor is dominated by brewmash and sourness from the corn, but also some malt also makes its presence. The end is quite hoppy (to hide the lack of alcohol), but the body is thin as water. One of the few beers I poured out.

Can: Poured a bright golden color lager with a medium lightly foamy white head with better then average retention. Aroma of light floral malt is quite evident. Taste is refreshing with a nice dose of malt but sadly lacking hops resulting in a thin watery finish. Overall, this is just a slightly above average premium lager.

Bottle. Pale yellow. Slightly metallic aroma with notes of bread. Almost tasteless. Yellow water with bubbles. Cant say it tastes bad.

Canned: Pale golden colour, quickly diminishing but lacing white head; light traces of grassy hoppiness, musty maltiness and traces of alcohol in the nose; light, more dry than sweet malty taste, ending in a slightly bitter, soapy finish: absolutely not impressive !
