This lager poured a really nice amber colour...Duh! w/ a white foamy head. A strong metallic scent is the first thing you smell. A little malt and hay are also in the nose. The first taste wasn't as bad as what your percentile may suggest. Although this is probably the most watery beer i have ever had it isn't offensive at all. Very light carbonation. Slight malt taste but seriously lacking in every dept! Palate is almost non-existant but there is a very small residue of caramel. Boring!!

Pale yellow, goldish colour, lots of CO2. Quickly vanishing white foamy head. Aroma is some hoppy, metallic and yeast. Slightly hoppy flavour finishing a little bit bitter. Quite watery and metallic too. Still, not the worst bulk lager at all.

Dark brown with a firm, light brown head. Metallic nose. Very sweet, syrup taste. Aftertaste is slightly burned.

This beer pours a almost black colour with a tan, coarse bubbled head. The aromas consist of caramel, malt and a small amount of citrus. First sip showed flavours of roasted malt with a bitter finish. It had a light palate with more roasted malts and bitters.

I found this in the USVI. That location hinted to me that I was back in the Caribbean where Stouts are strong & sweet. Perhaps the higher alcohol impeded a good head. The black color hed ruby highlights and the flavor started sweet and added roasty, bitter notes as it moved into the finish. Typical Stout of the style which is popular in the Islands.

Deep dark but clear, like concentrated cola; brownish head, reduced to rim in seconds. Very outspoken vanilla nose, quite sweet, roses and only a little roast malt. Taste is much more roasted/burnt malt-determined and much less sweet than the nose would suggest. the underneath sweet malts are there but unobtrusive. Still a bit of vanilla, some fruit and slight stout acidity. A bit light for a stout, whether sweet or other. Warming up, more sweet chocolate comes out. OK - but obviously, "Royal" is several steps down from "Imperial".

Amber colour with a small head. Sweet and warming with some malt to it, better than average.

Well, it looks alright; Golden colored with a decent head. The rest however is a different story; faint corn-aroma. Thin corn-sweet flavor with an unpleasant bitterness. Brewing this is a waste of good water.

Amber color. Head looks good but sinks quickly. Aroma of roasted malt. More roasted malt in the flavor. One-dimensional, but I've had worse Danish swill.

The aroma is sour and malty with notes of straws. I suspect that there has been used brewing cereal for this one. The color is golden and it has an OK but very fast disappearing head. The flavor is malty and slightly sweet, before it turns nicely bitter especially for a standard pilsener. But a drawback is that it ends on a sour note (brewing cereal?). The mouthfeel is thin. Just another discount beer - not bad to quench your thirst but no experience.
