In 1986 Le Baladin pub opens in Piozzo (Cuneo). Ten years after Le Baladin becomes a brewpub where beer is produced and directly sold. Blonde and Ambrée (both in filtered and non filtered versions) are the first draught beers produced by Baladin.

(Bottle, GBBF, London, 7 Aug 2008) Dark amber colour with brief, white head. Fruity nose with apricots and orange. Fruity, malty taste with notes of apricots, orange and spices. Low bitterness, medium body. not overly sweet. Definitely different, but a nice and very spicy beer. (7/3/7/4/15=3.6) Rerate: (Bottle 3 Feb 2018) Deep golden colour with brief, frothy, white head. Fruity, spicy, slightly perfumy nose with notes of citrus, passion-fruit, white bread, apricots, ginger, allspice, white pepper and flowers. Fruity, spicy taste with orange peel, passion-fruit, white bread, ginger, spices and a floral finish with low bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Really tasty, with spices and flowers. Very nice.

Bottle that I picked up at GBBF, and drank at Cropredy Festival 2008 Pours light amber in colour with light beige head. Some toffee and banana on the nose not unlike banoffee pie along with some yeast also slight tinge of sourness. Flavour is much the same as the aroma but with a smattering of fruitiness thrown into the equation, nice beer.

Bottled. Honeyish golden colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is spices, alcohol, earth and fruits. Flavour is the same with some fudge and grass. Alcohol gives a nice burning touch in the finish.

Bottle. Amber beer with a cream colored head. Nice sour, lemony aroma. Sour/tart lemon flavor with earthiness, summer fruit, and hay. Smooth, medium body. Lingering tart summer fruit, grape, malt, hay, and spice. Nice refreshigly tart. Decent complexity. Very drinkable.

Bottle Pours out a cloudy gold topped with a white head. Aroma of sweet fruit and flowers. Tast very juice sweet with all kinds of sweet fruit. A little spice. A very nice brew.

Bottle: Cloudy citrus color with a small sandy head. Nose is fruity and spicey. Nice and clean, crisp. Tastes light and floral with a medley of spices and light yeast. Sweet caramel. Pleasantly smooth and crisp. Thanks Jordan.
