Description
Love Lane Brewing is based in the heart of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, voted the “coolest” district in the UK. We’re keeping the city’s proud brewing heritage alive, with a new brewery and distillery.
In 2016, we began the transformation of our Liverpool base, renovating an old rubber factory into a 18,000 hectolitre Brewery, capable of brewing 3.2 million pints. Our family of beers and gins are all made under one roof.
Liverpool Craft was founded in 2011. Liverpool Craft bought in the Higsons Brewery name in 2018 at he same time the brewery changed name to Love Lane Brewery. Brewing started at the current venue in 2019. Cask beers are produced using the Higson's name, keg beers using Love Lane.

Can from local Home Bargains store – drank at home. Doesn’t froth out from can at all but pours a dark amber with an enormous frothy cream head. The aroma is quite fruity with lemon zest and berries. In contrasr, in the mouth it is very bitter with flavours of traditional hops, pine and underlying malts with hints of oranges and tropical fruits. Finish is distinctly dry but still quite bitter. This is decent – plenty of punch to it.

[44cl can from Home Bargains.] A slightly hazy straw coloured pour with a ring of white head; bready aroma; sweet citrusy taste; and a dry, oily orange finish leaving a pleasantly bitter aftertaste.

[44cl can from Home Bargains.] a slightly hazy golden amber pour with a fast fading white head; tropical fruit aroma; tropical fruit taste with some chewy caramel malts; then a slightly spicy bitterness, before some boiled jam to finish. Interesting but seemingly over pasteurised.
