Description
Love Lane Brewing is based in the heart of Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle, voted the “coolest” district in the UK. We’re keeping the city’s proud brewing heritage alive, with a new brewery and distillery.

In 2016, we began the transformation of our Liverpool base, renovating an old rubber factory into a 18,000 hectolitre Brewery, capable of brewing 3.2 million pints. Our family of beers and gins are all made under one roof.

Liverpool Craft was founded in 2011. Liverpool Craft bought in the Higsons Brewery name in 2018 at he same time the brewery changed name to Love Lane Brewery. Brewing started at the current venue in 2019. Cask beers are produced using the Higson's name, keg beers using Love Lane.

Third of a pint (keg) on a three beer flight in Slater's Wolverhampton on 9th March 2018 (£4:50 for the flight, only £3:50 for a cask flight). Golden bodied, bright and light, white blanket on top. Citrus notes in both the nose and taste, but not really heavy like real West Coast of the US ones. Refreshing enough, but lacked depth of body for 5.2% ABV.

Hmm, all I get is malt. Guessing bottle has turned. Unfair to rate, and will try again.

Love lane in Penny Lane. Worked really fine. Nice refreshing ale.
Golden color with a fine white head. Ok intensity in the aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Citric, pine, biscuit and mild fruity.
