Long overdue rerate (2016):Jeez, the "new review" was nearly 9 years old now. Anyway. 2l bottle shared with ogivlado (thanks!) waiting for the others to get to the tasting. Tasted from a Spiegelau IPA glass of course. Golden body, lively carbonation, medium sized white head that went away fast. Aroma... malty undertone, pollen/herbal notes, borderline metallic at times, slightly perfumey, ok really, just vague apple at times. Taste... soft, very vaguely grainy sweetish malty undertones, cheap herbal to vegetable hoppy taste, without any bitterness. Teeny tiny diluted, stale citric note. Almost no aftertaste, the soft body is cut off soon. Generally clean, just completely run of the mill. Drinkable, serving its purpose, not particularly enjoyable, but you can do worse. Upping it from 2.1 to 2.3.Newer review (2007): I got a 0.33l bottle of this for free with the pizza I ordered, so I decided to rerate it. This poured a yellow/golden colour with a thick 1cm big head that went away at a medium pace. The nose is grainy, with notes of honey. Not that great. Sweetish flavour, malty, notes of cardboard, lemon jelly and a weak weak touch of eggs and even (even weaker) alcohol. Not impressed at all. A lot sweeter than I remember it being, and definitely not a great beer. Sweetish aftertaste. More suited for teenagers for chugging it from plastic bottles than anything else. The score remains unchangedOld review (2004):Hmph, the worst of the three most advertised Croatian lagers. It’s just ordinary looking, with a bitterish, but not really pleasant taste. There are a lot of better choices in Croatia. I remember someone saying that it was far better some years ago, and even with a smaller alc% that it had then.

Yellow, creamy head. Slight chill haze. Light bodied, slightly grassy. Smooth with not much bitterness. OK for thirst cleansing on a hot day.
