Rating from 07/2010. Yellow color with small white head. Aroma of grain and hops, but very light. Taste, watery, hints of malt, grain, sourness. Bad.

Bottled 500ml. -So fat the best Croatian radler but not much. Hazy lemony coloured, minimal white head, fresh acidic lemony nose (pretty nice). Refreshing acidic lemony/lime taste but pretty much without any beer character. In general refreshing.

Bottled 500ml. -After Ožujsko Pšenično (Belgian style) here’s German style weizen. Cloudy golden coloured, medium to big sized white head, light fruity spicy nose. Mild yeasty, acidic fruity and light banana taste with notes of cloves. Short spicy fruity finish. For brand new Croatian wheat beer (brewed in Germany)this one is ok, but pretty average by German standards.

Finally found this one! I was damn glad and surprised to see Carlsberg deem Croatia worthy of a beer that’s not a pale lager. I was told that it was brewed in Koprivnica, but it turns out it’s not. Made in Germany, bottled here (and 1kn more expensive than the average because of that). Blah. To the beer... this pours a nice misty golden body pierced with lovely little streams of carbonation, carrying a big white head that went away relatively fast. The nose is faint and lactic, chewed up bubblegum, light banana, mostly cloves. Soft, slightly yeasty mouthfeel, lactic again, drinkable, carrying extremely faint banana and a little more pronounced chewed up bubblegum. Vaguely perfumey. Overall well-rounded but so faint. Are they afraid that esthers would scare Croats away from this one? I do hope that they’re not that dumb. Still, a very, VERY welcome sight on the Croatian market.

It was only to be expected that Carlsberg Croatia would want a bite of the currently exploding radler market in Croatia (more people are drinking them in cafes outside than beer!). So they released this, and though it was on the market at least a week after the wheat, it came to the bigger stores sooner (figures). Anyway, this poured a misty pale milky yellow body, very lightly fizzy, with a small head that went away fast. Strong nose, distinct lime. The taste, however, is a nice surprise, bitterish lime/lemon, entering Schweppes territory. Not nearly as sweet as I thought it would be. I’m not drinking it perfectly cold, but this seems more drinkable than the other two. Well well well. Another plus for the company that was not long ago a good example of how unimaginative/ordinary Croatian breweries are. A damn good radler.

Small can, looks simple. Beer in the glass very zippy, small head. Starts mild, but also dry, some woody notes. Some hints of lemon in the finish. All in all mild and a bit too moldy. Okay.

Canned from random Croatian petrol station. Clear golden, airy head. Sweet and fruity, medium bodied with sterile lifeless mouthfeel. Some overripe fruits, almost no bitterness. Decidedly non-refreshing but just somehwat unpleasant.

Bottled. An amber beer with a huge but collapsing white head. The aroma has notes of metal, caramel, alcohol, and fruit. The flavor is sweet with notes of alcohol of malt, caramel, and alcohol inspite of the only 5% ABV. Quite simple. Thanks faroeviking for sharing.

1 L bottle, courtesy of faeroeviking. Pours clear and golden orange with a huge white head. Aroma is malty and cornish. Metallic. Malty, cornish and breadish malty. Roasted malty, dry breadish and roasted. Malty and slight bitter finish.
