Drinking and discovering this beer, at the bistro 120, at Evian, on friday, in family. Not a revolution in the mouth, correct Belgian ale, on the way of a leffe blonde, boozy, warm, malty, sweet, sugar with a classical hop, a bit short and watery. 29.05.22

(Bottle) Reddish amber colour with frothy, tan head. Malty nose with notes of caramel, fruit cake, dried fruit, dates, honey and orange peel. Malty, fruity taste with caramel, fruit cake, syrup, dried fruit, dates, orange peel and a mild spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite sweet. Rich, malty and well balanced. Nice one.

Hazy straw pour very small white head. Aroma of citrus, corriander and some buttery grasses. Flavor is nice and light and refreshing. The citrus is there and the corriander sticks around but the finish is dominated by a buttery grassy almost sourness.
