0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk Avondverkoop’, best before May 2017. Clear, golden amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-sourish, fruity, yeasty-spicy aroma of clove, apricot and banana. Sweetish-sourish, yeasty-spicy, slightly fruity taste of banana, clove, some apricot and straw, followed by a short, yeasty-spicy, slightly peppery finish. Thin to medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, lively carbonation. Decent, classic saison.

0.33 l bottle from ’Tabak’s Wijndiscount & Bierwinkel’, best before December 2016. Hazy, golden orange with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish, fruity-malty, slightly peppery aroma of orange, tangerine, honey and biscuit dough. Sweetish, already slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of orange, tangerine and straw, followed by a long, rather bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Nice, could be better with less carbonation.

330ml bottle. Cloudy, dark golden colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, off-white head. Weak, grassy hoppy aroma on fruity basis, hints of apple and pear. Taste is herbal-grassy bitter hoppy, minimally peppery spicy yeasty; overcarbonated. And overhopped.

Bottle 330ml. [ As De Naeckte Brouwers Zonnebock ].[ Vintage 2014 ]. Clear medium orange color with a large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, pale malt, caramel, earthy malt. Flavor is moderate to light light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary malt, fruity, hay. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20151121]

Aroma is moderate malty, dark malt, caramel, sweet malt, moderate yeasty, dried fruit, dusty, candy - sweet yeast. 0.33 l bottle from ’Sterk Avondverkoop’, best before October 2015. Clear, amber with a huge, dense, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fruity-grassy aroma of honey, grapefruit, pineapple and some pine. Sweetish, slightly bitter, fruity-grassy taste of honey, pine, mango and orange peel, followed by a medium long, slightly bitter, grassy finish. Medium body, slightly creamy mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Unfortunately already quite old, therefore little hops and rather malty, but still quite nice.

Faint, sweetish-fruity aroma of mango, peach, and honey. Slightly bitter, fruity-malty taste of grapefruit, some redcurrant, maybe honey, followed by a short, slightly bitter finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite boring with a very faint aroma and taste, not really good.
