33cl bottle @PBF XI. Bbe 040517 Poured deep golden color with a thin white head. Peppery spicy aroma, some cooked vegetables. Flavor has sweetness, spicy notes, sweet fruits. Balanced. Abv nicely hidden.

Bottle at home, Red beer, small head. Aroma is not much, some medicinal aroma’s, menthol? Taste is the same, without the menthol. aftertase is cherry, dry. weird beer. And not so good.

Shared 25.4 oz. bottle. Pale gold and hazy with a white head. Aomra and taste is malty and bready with floral notes. Mildly sweet and and mildly bitter. ABV well-hidden. Okay.

Bottled (from Saveur Biere). Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is a bit soapy with some floral and mild alcohol notes. Flavour is very triple like at first when drinking (a.k.a. citrus, alcohol, mild yeast and sweetness). Once you’ve swallowed it, the flavour becomes rather grainy along with some parfumed soap and mild earthy notes. A bit strange.

33cl bottle. Clear golden colour with a large but quickly dissipating white head. Aroma is earthy, yeast, bready, malt, fruit, bordering on being almost skunky, musty hay. Taste is kind of sweet malt, hops, but very yeasty, with earthy notes and actually quite some sourness comes through. Very fizzy carbonation, dry. Got better as it warmed up but can’t say it’s a favourite of mine, wasn’t what I was expecting.

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle from ’Saveur Bière’, best before December 2016, shared at Borresteijn’s place. Clear, golden yellow with a white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy aroma of caramel, honey, vanilla and and some clove. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy taste of caramel, honey, some clove and vanilla, followed by a short, a little bitter, slightly spicy finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Quite sweet but tasty!

75cl Bottle. Hazy golden colour, white head. Aroma is very sweet, bready malts, spicy yeast. Flavour is quite sweet and bready malty as well, light spicy, hint of lemon. Light to medium bodied. Too sweet for me.
