Can 33 cl. Pours a clear golden with a rough, white head. Oh damn that aroma of stale, greasy chemical hops - puke material. Light body, salty and minerally with a sweet, itrusy fruitiness. No real bitterness. Decent if not for the disgusting aroma. 201225

Can picked up from Walther Mai, München and consumed the same say, Tuesday 16th December 2025, at our Premier Inn after a day in Salzburg for me. Pours pitch black with a slim beige head, mostly just a rim of tiny bubbles actually. Taste is initially sweet, barrel ageing very noticeable as is the coffee infusion, however the bourbon wins out, just! Smooth and with a little boozy warmth, nice slightly oiliness in texture, good Impy' Stout. Score 7.8

Draft at the Beer Temple, Amsterdam. Poured a hazy yellow golden, colour with a short-lived, frothy, white head. The aroma is grainy, light herbal, light citrus. The flavour is moderate bitter, with a smooth, somewhat rich, herbal, light hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average to soft carbonation.

Straight from can during a hike. Color: Hazy golden, I presume. White head for sure. Aroma: Hoppy, tropical fruit. Taste: Bit creamy mouthfeel, hoppy with a firm malty base, tropical fruit (tangerine, some pineapple, melon). Fruity. More sweet than bitter. Dry-ish, a little more bittery, finish.

Straight from can during a hike. Aroma: Lemon, orange. Taste: Wheat and oat malt, combined with fruity lemon and some orange and a little bit of hop in the background. . Moderate tart, light sweetness. Refreshing. Ok overall.

Can 33cl. from AH XL Supermarket @home poured into a shaker. Slightly hazy pale straw colour, small fizzy white head, mostly diminishing, spotty lacing. Aroma pale malt, lemon, pineapple, grassy hops. Taste medium sweet and slightly bitter, light malt, lemon, pineapple. Light body, watery texture, soft carbonation, sweet and slightly bitter aftertaste, decent.

Mooie donkere, maar niet pikzwarte kleur, een fijne bruine kraag met niet heel lange retentie. Geur van donkere suiker, wat boozy en fruitig. Retronasaal komt er flink wat geroosterdheid en koffie bij. Smaak is vrij zoet, maar genoeg koffie en geroosterde bitterheid om dat wat te balanceren. Hopjes achter in de mond. Medium tot volle body. Vrij smooth, drinkt soepel weg, niet te alcoholisch. Hopjes en geroosterde koffie in de afdronk. Eigenlijk behoorlijk lekker.
