A middling mild ale. More taste than the big commercial ales, but nothing noteworthy. Grain, touches of honey, sweet malt, citrus and some herbal aftertaste.

A decently laced white head on a golden body. The nose has fresh citrus and tropical hops, caramel, with a slightly sour fruit note. This is weird one - as if I am drinking a different beer from previous raters. First off, this is a tasty ale, but it is not an old style English pale ale. Tropical and citrus hop notes lead a busy taste profile. Melon, kiwi, peach and orange elements work with brown sugar and roasted grain to make a solid, non-astringent IPA. If I rated this as an English PA I would give it a horrible rating. As just a fruity IPA, I am enjoying it.

Very floral, green tea, light grasses. Good mouth feel, good carb. Low to medium bitterness, minerals, pale cereals and green tea round it out.

Growler. Dark copper, medium off white head. Sweet and bready, loads of sweet cereals, with some sharp grassy hops. Light Sherry note, some minerals, and alcohol. Viscous mouth feel, soft carb. Alcohol is apparent, sweet, malty, bready finish. Hops fade, low bitterness... Reminds me of a boozy English strong ale.

Ruby red pour, light pink head. Aroma is very earthy, and slightly sweet with some nice subtle citrus hop notes. Mouthfeel is good, carb is spot on. Finish as the beer warms becomes quite citrusy, and the earthy sweetness from the beets comes through and oddly compliments the beer with a medium bitterness.

Black pour, big beige head. Aroma is quite roast, with hints of coffee, and some strong herbal flavours, obviously strong on mint. Slightly watery mouth feel very soft carb. Finish is very minty, and herbal, with some minerals and soft roast. Well done.
