1L growler from brewery. Jet black, medium mocha head. Aroma is super toasty, with some light sweet whisky, woody barrel, and hints of vanilla. Mouthfeel is light, carb is perfect. Medium bitterness. Roastiness gets a tad creamy in the end. Some cocoa and coffee appear with more woody barrel notes and soft vanilla whisky, interesting stuff.

Can: Poured a brown color ale with a light foamy head with minimal retention and light lacing. Aroma of caramel notes with some green pepper notes and light roasted flavors. Taste is also a mix of caramel notes with some green pepper notes with some roasted mat notes. Body is about average with good carbonation. OK brown ale but I could do without the green pepper notes.

Hazy caramel-amber colour with a bubbly beige head, average stay and some bubbles left on the ring of brew. Big spicy nose with the ginger and rye grains. Same for the taste, but on the watery side. Weird for such a high alcohol content. Was expecting thicker. Some particles, but not overly. The spiciness overtakes the vanilla-oak. A very smooth, wet, flat, spicy Rye and Ginger brew.

Dark copper brown colour with a fizzy head that disappears quickly, not leaving any lace. Candy cane aromas of mint over the roasted malts. Refreshing mint taste, again over mild roasted malts. Not getting much chocolate malts, not cheesecake action. Not that the mintiness is not overpowering, but it is what sticks out the most. Not well-blended, but an alright one to have a better breath.
