Threes Brewing is a Brooklyn-based brewery known for crafting approachable beers that balance simplicity and complexity, with a focus on lagers, hop-forward American ales and mixed culture beers. In addition to selling beer in over 150 bars, restaurants and shops across New York State, Threes Brewing runs a non-traditional tap room and event space in Gowanus, as well as a satellite bar and event space in Greenpoint.

Draught @ Albion. Slightly cloudy bright yellow with small foamy white head, faint citrus peel aroma, low carbonation, faintly tart citrus taste, abrupt finish with little hoppiness. Easy drinking.

Draught @ Albion. Hazy dark amber with small foamy beige head, spicy aroma, low carbonation, salty taste with permeating bitterness following, thick body, spicy flavor, long finish. Interesting brew, a bit bitter.

A hazed blonde saison with a thin white lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light coriander and curacao, creamy character, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity malt with light coriander and curacao, fruity esters, light grassy hops, light mineral notes, nice. On tap at Amsterdam Ale House NYC.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: Pours black with a small head. Aroma is like a saison... The normal kind. Somewhat funky and farmhousey. Taste is lightly minerally. Taste is slightly sweet. Somewhat tangy. Oysters not really present. Mostly a really good saison.

Draft @ the brewery. Pours a hazy golden pale orange color with a small white head. Has a fruity bretty peachy hoppy yeasty aroma. Fruity malty bretty dry peachy hoppy zesty flavor. Has a fruity malty spicy bretty hoppy peachy finish.

The Sampler, Brooklyn tap: pours gold with a white head. Aroma is grassy, hoppy, hay, straw, blah, etc... Nice. Taste is nicely bitter with good hop character. Well balanced. Good stuff.
