From Beer Drop, canned May 28th 2025.
It pours a clear mahogany with a massive head of foam, great retention and lacing.
The smell is nutty, roasty, has toffee, light smoke.
The taste is roasty, nutty, toffee, has grain, little bit smokey, almost tobacco.
Medium bodied, I would drink this again.

Pours clear dark amber with a beige head. Aroma of malt with a touch of smoke. Taste is malt, molasses, stone fruits, bit of smoke and spruce. Good.

Dark orange brown with a huge fluffy head that lingered and left great lacing. Toasty malt, raisin, fig and faint tobacco. Long finish. Moderately full bodied.

Orange with a large fluffy head that lingered. Bitter and fairly rough with tobacco, orange and pine notes. Long finish. Medium body.

Pour is a dark murky river water brown. Aroma is a tootsie roll burnt caramel with brown sugar. Flavor is more sugar covered dark fruit a little smoky malt and a touch of alcohol. Very rich and flavorful. Almost into Dubbel territory. I really liked this rich and flavorful.

Backlog august 2016. Slightly foggy golden body under a lacing, medium sized white head. Quite OK aroma of different berries. Taste is light and mild, not much malt. No bitterness and kinda artificial berry flavor. Plain and boring.

Aromas are dark malt, toffee and toast. Flavors are similar to nose with an ever so slight smoke quality. Good balance between bitter, sweet and carbonation while leaning a bit sweet. Pretty good wee heavy.

Best before 04/24, buying it at Heinrich 3000, Kornwestheim, february 2023. Opening the bottle yesterday at midday, despite of the hot weather. Classical and tasty porter, smooth, dry, note of coffee, cocoa, bitter, mineral, bitter, well balanced.

Pour is a dark amber with a large tan head. Aroma is sweet molasses and a little smoke. Flavor is brown sugar and molasses. Some dark fruit show up with some spruce follow up. I agree with the Belgian dark listening here. Very much like a Dubbel with dark sugar covered fruit and a heavy rich malt.
