Bottle. Pours gold with brief fizzy head. Aroma of mildly tart apples and alcohol. Taste is stewed apples, a little sourness, quite sweet but then there is a mild dryness in the finish. There are medium-dry and medium-sweet elements to this which is interesting as most ciders tend to try and be one or the other. Apart from that it is a simple enough cider. Oily body and a good soft to moderate carbonation. Overall an OK cider.

My god the drinks I'm buying for a rating; I need to take a break... Very pale yellow, slight fizz at beginning but no head. Aroma of chemicals, with a hint of old pear juice. A very sour and acidic artificial pear taste with a dry finish. Its so acidic it sent shivers down my spine even by my 30th sip. Maybe the sweetness wasn't there to balance it? No chance, the body has a syrupy tooth rotting texture which is actually the least worse part. Aston Manor's apple cider is decent, whereas this is a big pile of crap and should be discontinued.

Bottle at 4.7%. Pours a fizzy gold with no head. No strong aromas but there is green apple skins and caramel. Moderate to high carbonation and a little watery but with a hint of the syrupy texture. Taste of moderately tangy apples, caramel, quite a dry finish. Cheap, refreshing, a little forgettable but perfectly decent.

500ml can purchased with low expectations as I've tried cheap ciders in the past which haven't been good. Light gold colour, no head but looks to have plenty of fizz. Distinctive bitter apple aroma; fine. Moderate to high carbonation, decent body not too watery; surprisingly good. Taste is mostly sweet, slightly sharp and sour a little bitter dryness noticeable. Flavour is ok but it gets a bit tiresome by the end of the can so I'm not sure the balance is quite right. Slightly better than I was expecting though.

Can purchased from Asda. Had to add this to database so maybe an Asda only brand. Purple appearance, pink head which quickly goes. Aroma of blackcurrant cordial being very artificial. High carbonation and watery. Taste of dark fruit cordial and sweet but not overdone. Poor but drinkable.
