Can to tulip.
Appearance: super dark brown close to black color with a finger's worth of tan foamy head which settled off at a decent pace and left some light concave lace
Aroma: rich sweet milk chocolate, peanuts - nuttty & salty; vanilla sweetness and a touch of coffee roastiness
Flavor: absolutely combines the prior noted aromas magnificently through each other in a sweet and roasty way with the nutty and salty character amplifying the taste and just a nick of alcohol but nothing that's burdensome; finishes roasty, sweet, nutty and salty with a speck of dryness
Texture: medium to full bodied; great as a sipper; good smoothness with a lil bit of stickiness but nothing to worry sbout; great carb level
Overall: a very nicely done pastry impy stout with vanilla & peanuts in it I would love to return to in the Winter.

0.355l can @ Ghetto Something, courtesy of Boris & Goran. Aroma of cinnamon, maple syrup and chocolate. Pours almost black color with thin creamy light brown head. Taste starts with sweet chocolate, caramel and dried fruit, follows by cinnamon, vanilla, bourbon and wood, mouthfeel is smooth and warm, while finish is mild bitter. Full body, syrupy texture and soft carbonation in palate. Suicidal breakfast…

Poured from a can into a tulip glass

Pours a hazy pale orange with a finger and a half of pale off white head that leaves a little bit of sticky lace

Aroma is predominantly citrus. Fresh OJ, lime and pithy grapefruit standing out while some juicy mango settles in.

Taste is very citrus forward, fresh squeezed ruby red grapefruit juice and pulpy orange juice steal the show. Fresh mango adds some sweetness to the mix while orange pith and peel add a bit of bitterness as things play out.

Medium light body and moderate soft carbonation make for a pillowy easy drinking dipa. Pithy citrus bitterness melds with smooth tropical citrus juice leaf to a rather sessionable brew.

Overall it's another nice showcase of what Citra hops can do. I'd be happy to enjoy this beer again.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: dark brown to black color with a thin tan foamy head which slipped off pretty quick and barely left any lace
Aroma: milk chocolate, dark chocolate, black coffee, roasty character, vanilla, cinnamon and some caramel
Flavor: leans into the sweetness initially and allows some roast to enter in; finishes chocolatey sweet
Texture: medium bodied - maybe a touch under; between sessionable and being a sipper; some smoothness and a light dryness
Overall: pretty good pastry impy ale worthy of coming back to.

Appearance: dark brown close to black color with a quickly dissipating little head which didn't leave any lace
Aroma: roasty and sweet to earthy and spicy coffee tones, so many different coffee variations - really good; quaint semi-sweet vanilla, then light roasty vibes from the aroma as a whole

Texture: medium bodied, great sipper! Some smoothness, a light dry tone and a delicate spicy earthy grind into the tongue
