Bottle shared by explosivedog: pours reddish with white head. Aroma is caramel, light earthiness. Taste is a bit bitter, malty, low sweetness. Fine.

440ml Can from Spar, Llanfyllyn. Gushes out the can. Pours a misty golden yellow, inch thick white head. Aroma of gently sweet malt. Taste is generally quite clean with a lovely pale malty sweetness, a touch grainy, gently sweet, soft bitterness. Really nice lager.

500ml bottle. Clear copper appearance, modest amount of off white froth atop. Gently sweet nose. Taste is noticeably sweet, a little sugary, some fruity caramel malt notes.. The lightest off flavour, not really oxidised but close to it. Not too off putting and the sweetness retains a strong appeal. Nice Welsh ale.
