Bottle picked up by dad from Oakchurch, Staunton on Wye, Herefordshire and consumed at Spond, Herefordshire Sunday 14th July 2019. Pours hazy almost a little murky dark brown edging towards black with an off white head, I can see that this sits somewhere between an Imperial Stout and a Black IPA, however for me the fresh, clean, green hoppiness just about rules the roost over the roastiness. It's good, it doesn't taste 10%

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 11/2/2019. Dark brown with a thin, off-white, head. A malty beer, with some brown sugar, bready notes, a hint of leafy hop and gentle finish. Fine.

Handpull cask at the Criterion, Leicester. Reddish brown, translucent with an uneven beige head. Light smell, some chocolate, some Marmite, some herbal notes. Taste: bitter chocolate, vomit, savoury cooking herbs. Sour vinegary finish. Choccy woccy? Christy wisty.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. Light haze on this paleish gold beer, bubbly pale cream colour head. Palate is light and fairly dry, good fine carbonation. Thin malts, not that sweet. Decent citric pith and peel. Grapefruit and a touch of floral orange. Dry finish. Nicely citric.

Half-pint, cask ale at Pen & Wig. Shared with Finn. A deep rustic shade to a dark coloured body. Low beige head, upper part lacing. Moderate smell of dark caramel. malt-driven taste character of dark bread and caramel malts, some hints of dark berries as well. Mildly roasted finish. Satisfying. (Newport 03.10.2018).

500ml bottle: BB 14th Feb 19. Poured into my huge 'Judas' glass at home on 21st Sep 18. Hazy golden body, large white foaming head. Piney hop nose, earthy and woody. The taste is a decent blend of malts and semi-bittering hops. Very good for such a low alcohol content, great beer if your'e driving I should imagine.
