On tap at Kaķis Maisā, pours a clear pale yellow, no head. Aroma has soft floral apple skins and some acidity. Flavour is cloyingly sweet, with intense toffee apple, plenty of acidity too, and brown sugar. Well that’s sweet but there’s also acidity to balance and some depth. I don’t think I like this but it’s better than most commercial sweet ciders.
