bottle at fins ..Light fruity cherry ashtray....soft sweet earthy odd fruit ...wierd funky cherry chocolate....maybe some cognac hints but .no really .

750 ml bottle. Cloudy yellow. Passion fruit, sauerkraut, lemon juice. Dry sourness, fruity sweetness. Light bodied, watery texture, soft carbonated, dry fruity sour finish. Decent Sour Ale, not really a Berliner Weiße though.

Oughta be this one. Last beer at Žatecká Dočesná. Hazy dark amber-golden-red body, white head. Raisins, bourbon and alcohol in the aroma. The taste is nicely dry and bitter really in the finsih, similar raisiny bourbony malty notes as before, albeit a bit papery somehow. Solid stuff!

Tap at Dočesná. Slightly darker hazy golden body, off-white head. Resinous aroma, sweetish. Resinous, earthy taste, sweetish, lighter bitterness, not too fruity, okay lean, dryish body. Solid stuff!

Bottle 0.33l, one and half year aged. Cloudy, dark amber to copper colored. AROMA- bourbon, brandy, berries, cherries. FLAVOR- neutral, lightly bitter, warming, cherry, strawberry, dark raisins, brandy. Fuller to full bodied. Very good.

27/4/2024. Bottle shared at fonefan Ulfborg tasting. Czech Rep rating #100. Aroma is tequila, woody, bready, toasted, caramel, malt. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, smooth, average to soft carbonation. Nice sweet warming boozy finish. Likeable.

ABV: 10.5%. ✅ Clear medium red colour with a small to average, fizzy and open, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is oak, caramel, wood, tequila, barrel, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, tequila, barrel, wood - oak, caramel - pale malt, toasted. Body is medium, texture is oily and sticky, carbonation is soft to flat, finish feel is warming and light alcoholic. [20240427]
