On tap at Hopfen & Co, pours a clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma has toasted bready malt, some herbal notes, and some chestnuts. Flavour is on-point, with bready malt, herbaceous notes, and toasted chestnuts. Always nice to try this style done well. Good.

On tap at Hopfen & Co, pours a hazy dull golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma has clove, gentle orange rind, and some gentle esters. Flavour is dry, with plenty of esters, mild astringency, and clove. Not as bright as a superior weizen or estery, but decent enough.

On tap at Hopfen & Co, pours a clear dark amber with a small white head. Aroma has nice toasted chestnuts, bready malt, and toasted caramel. Flavour is malty and dry, with lots of bready malt and dry toasted nuts. Dry and malty but not much depth. Meh.

On tap at Hopfen & Co, pours a clear golden yellow with a large white head. Aroma is nice and fresh, with herbaceous notes, grass, and straw. Flavour is very clean and fresh, with bright herbaceous notes, grassy hops, and straw. Bright and fresh, well-hopped, and super clean. Very good.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso viene attratto dal frumento. La finezza olfattiva è elevata e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore è caratterizzato da una schiuma dalla buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il liquido si presenta velato. Il colore è ambrato. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza e c'è anche una componente leggermente acidula. La forza gustativa è normale e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. L'aroma in bocca porta i segni di miele, frumento, pane cotto di recente, agrumi e banana.

La grandezza delle bollicine è medio-fine. Il colore è scuro impenetrabile. Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è contenuto. La forza gustativa è normale e permane in maniera sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di birra beverina. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. Al gusto vengono donati toni di caramello, miele, erbaceo e agrumi.

Il corpo è rotondo. L'amaro è di media potenza. La forza gustativa è normale e la permanenza è sufficiente. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di media intensità. In bocca un gusto prevalente di malto, e poi miele, pane ed erbaceo.

Draught @ the brewpub Finely carbonated orange-golden beer, faintly hazy, under thick cream head and textbook lace. Pineapple ester, pale malts, faint ureum. Sweetish malts with a very nice balance by some bitterish hoppiness. Plus some extra dimension by the traceable alcohol. Medium bodied at least. Good carbonation. Quite decent Maibock.
