[ As Dansk Mjød Jule Mjød ].Clear medium yellow color with virtualy no head. Aroma is moderate to heavy honey, spicy honey, spices, cinnamon, xmas spices. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long long duration, honey, spicy, apple spicy, cinnamon, alcohol, light xmas spices. Body is medium to full, texture is syrupy and sticky, carbonation is flat, finish feel is light alcoholic. Even though it is quit a spicy mead i like it *

75 cl ceramic bottle. Pours clear and golden yellow, no head. Aroma is cinnamon and cardemomme mixed with honey spiced. Solid spoced, light honey note. Light getting all the spiced dropped on the table and into your nose. Solid cinnamon, almost burning.

Bottle. Almost clear golden liquid with minimal white head. Aroma of honey, booze, wood, fermented apples, spices and vanilla. Quite boozy. Taste is medium to high sweet with notes of honey, booze, apples and vanilla. Full bodied with sticky mouthfeel. Boozy and a bit unrefined.

Bottle shared at the RBESG 2014, grand tasting 09/08/2014 Moncada Brewery. Aroma is hot alcohol, rubbing alcohol, big cinnamon, apple pie. Murky golden coloured pour Flavour is ginger bread men, earthy honey, big aniseed, cinamon medicinal flavours. Palate is sweet with low carbonation. Lingering warming hot alcohol

Kveldens nest siste på denne elegante RBHD-samlinga på Tau okt-14: vinkork, stålwire og champagnesmell! Vi nærmer oss slutten, og selskapet virker fornøyd og på det nærmeste ferdigratet, men vi har fortsatt alle konsonantene i behold. Kobberfarget øl med aroma av brunost/prim og honning. Honning hele veien - perfekt for meg som har et sterkt avhengighetsforhold til nettopp dette. En betimelig wake up call når vi nærmer oss kveldens aller siste rating.

Shared 750 ml corked and caged bottle at local tasting, from the museum shop at Koldinghus castle. Deep amber colour, white head. Nice aroma of honey, sweet malts and mild spices. Sweet flavour, loads of honey, malts and spices. This is, after all, a beer with mead added - not a mead with beer added.

Pale copper. Off-white head. Aroma of honey, with a hint of herbs. Also sweet caramel. Similarly sweet and fruity taste. Well-balanced.
