Sampled @ Danish Summer Gathering 2015 Trübe orangegoldene Farb, geringe weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch intensiv würzig, Zimt, Mandeln. Geschmack süß, Zimt, Mandeln, winterliche Gewürze, mit Bier hat das aber nichts zu tun.

Sampled at 8th Danish Ratebeer Gathering, Ulfborg 2015, day 2. Clear rusty orange color, very small off-white head that disappears instantly. Smell and taste are impossible to explain in English, but in Dutch: vloeibare speculaas. Maybe some additional herbs or spices as well like clove and cinnamon. Why make this? Who likes vloeibare speculaas?

Draft @ the brewpub. Pours a hazy pale reddish amber color with a small longlasting off-white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana aroma. Fruity wheat malty spicy banana flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy banana finish with weak hints of caramel.

Rerate from bottle. Flowery hops, dark orange golden, golden lace. Sweet doughy malt, a hint DMS, light spice, cake, perfume, citrus, grass, hay finish. Old rating: 6 4 6 4 12 Tap at Fränkisches bierfest. Cloudy orange red, eggshell head. Light fruity notes, apples, medium body, mellow mouthfeel. Medium light body, not too sweet, meaty finish.

On tap the brewery in Nurnberg. Hazy amber colour lasting cream head. wow certainly a lot of hops. too sweet. the hop aroma is crazy noble hop. not too bitter. it’s a very drinkable bock. Hides abv well. Tasty. you have to love those hops. gets sweeter on the finish.

Vom Faß im Altstadthof, Nürnberg (11.4.2015). - Goldbraun, klar; bildet schöne Schaumringe im Glas. - In der Nase intensiv fruchtig-würzige „exotische“ Hopfenaromen vom feinsten, die mit Mango, Pfeffer, Honig nur unzureichend umschrieben sind. - Im Antrunk Mango und Pfeffer auf warmer heller Malzsüße mit Anklängen von Waldhonig. Mild rezent, vollmundig aber nicht dick, sahniges Mundgefühl. Auch im Abgang schöne Hopfenaromen: tropische Frucht, krautige Noten. Längerer, würzig pfeffrig-bitterer Nachtrunk. - Außerordentlich originell gehopftes Bier mit wunderbarem Duft, dessen Versprechen vom Geschmack nicht völlig eingelöst wird.

Tap at the brewpub. Reddish-orange with an enormous head. Very hoppy nose, oranges, lemons, plus caramel and biscuits. IPA-like. Very bready and malty flavor; a bit thin. Decent, not at all traditional. Not ground-breaking but decent. Taste cannot live up to the promise of the nose.

On tap at the Brewpub. Dunkel rötlichbraunes Bier mit einer geringen beigen Schaukrone. Geruch sehr malzig, viel Karamell, röstmalzig, fruchtig. Geschmack kräftig malzig, fruchtig, Karamell, leicht röstmalzig.
