Description
First brewed in Spring 2017 as Cocksure Brewing. They changed their name in Spring 2019. They were then taken over by a local charity, PROPS, in 2022 but retained 'Tapestry' as the first part of their name.

Our mission is to support adults with learning disabilities to achieve their full potential in our community. We achieve this by providing access to practical learning, skills development and worthwhile, accessible work-based experiences.

On cask at the Strait and Narrow Lincoln. Clear golden colour with white head. Aroma zesty citrus. Taste light sweet to slight bitter. Lightly juicy body.

26/3/2019. Cask, sample, from Darlington Beer Festival @ Voodoo Cafe, courtesy of Danlo, cheers. Pours very dark brown with a bubbly beige head. Aroma of camp coffee, roasted malts, bitter dark chocolate, toffee, hint of liquorice and dried fruit. Medium sweetness with moderate bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Good.

Cask at Darlington CAMRA Fest 2019 at the Voodoo Cafe. Black brown colour, beige foam head and roasted coffee aroma. Taste is roasted, dark chocolate malt, coffee and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry coffee finish. Quite drinkable

Cask at Beer Emporium, Bristol. Pours hazed red amber with an off white head. Aroma: cereal malts dominate. Taste: light sweet, moderate to heavy bitter, dry, bitter, malty, caramel, berries, light spicy. Medium body, light carb, heavy bitter, very dry finish. Meh

Bottle from Better Foods, Wapping Wharf, Bristol. Near black in colour, with a thin, beige, head. Sweetish stout, with some dark berries, hints of caramel, toasty malts, and a slightly vinous edge before a dryish finish. Good.
